Adele announces Las Vegas residency with concerts at Caesars Palace to launch in January

Adele has announced that she will be performing at her first ever residency in Las Vegas in 2022.

The Easy on Me singer is following in the footsteps of many legendary artists who have taken on concert gigs in Sin City such as Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera, to name a few.

Adele informed her 46.6 million followers of the news on Tuesday with the caption: “See you at Caesars in Vegasss."

After landing her fourth consecutive number one album with 30, which was released on 19 November, Adele has much to celebrate along with the news of this residency and will no doubt be singing her new hits when shows begin on 21 January.

Her Las Vegas tour will play up until April next year and registration for tickets has been made accessible from today.

Eager fans of Adele will be able to purchase tickets in the pre-sale on 7 December once they have registered and have received an individual code that will enable availability to what will no doubt be treated as golden passes to the show.

It’s been quite a few years since Adele has played in concert to crowds of fans and it appears the singer is ready to get back out there almost immediately after she has released new music.

The 33-year-old received worldwide critical acclaim and praise from long-awaiting fans after hearing her album 30, which reveals personal songs about the singer’s experience with divorce, motherhood, mental health and more.

After dropping her first single from her latest album back in October, Adele was seen heavily promoting 30 before its release, which brought about a nice change for fans after being so used to the singer keeping private.

The album broke records in its first week, surpassing sales of by Ed Sheeran with his album Divide back in 2017 in the first few days.

Adele even broke her own record, with 30 becoming the most successful opening week of an album by a female singer since her 2015 body of work, 25.

In the weeks leading up to 30’s release, the London-born singer filmed two live televised performances in Los Angeles outside Griffith Observatory and in London’s Palladium in front celerity guests.

Now fans will be glad to hear they now have a chance of seeing the star perform some time soon.
