Amanda Bynes’ Lawyer Says She’s Not Pregnant Despite Her Announcement

Almost two months after the ‘What a Girl Wants’ star shared and deleted a sonogram picture, her lawyer says the former actress is not expecting a baby with her fiance Paul Michael.

AceShowbizAmanda Bynes is not pregnant after all. Less than two months after the former actress made the shocking announcement, her lawyer David Esquibias has set things straight by saying that she’s not expecting a baby with her fiance Paul Michael.

The lawyer additionally reveals that the 35-year-old star, who was ordered to enter a psychiatric facility by a judge in March, “is not living in a sober living facility.” He tells Us Weekly about his client, “She’s sheltering at a safe environment.”

Amanda has been making quite some headlines since earlier this year, with her relationship with Paul and her conservatorship issue. The “Easy A” star announced her engagement to her boyfriend on Valentine’s Day in February, after reportedly dating for about two to three months. The two were said to have met for the first time while she was in rehab.

A source told E! News at the time that Amanda’s parents didn’t approve of her engagement. “Amanda’s parents are fully aware of her engagement and at this point are not approving Amanda to legally get married under the conservatorship,” so the source dished. Two weeks later, it was reported that they broke off their engagement, but Paul claimed that the split news was fake and their Instagram accounts were hacked.

In March, “The Amanda Show” alum took to her Instagram page to claim that she’s pregnant with her and Paul’s first child together. “Baby on board!” she wrote, along with a picture of an ultrasound. Her fiance also posted the photo of the sonogram on his own page and captioned it, “Baby in the making.”

The pregnancy announcement, however, was removed from both Amanda and Paul’s pages shortly afterwards. It’s unknown if she faked the sonogram picture or if she had a miscarriage, since the sonogram had her name on it.
