Claiming that she had tried to push through as hard as she can, the ‘7 Rings’ hitmaker explains that it feels like the wisest decision since she doesn’t want to rush through her time with the fans.
AceShowbiz –Ariana Grande has apologised to fans for cancelling a scheduled meet-and-greet in Belgium, revealing her anxiety levels have spiked.
The “7 Rings” singer was due to mingle with fans ahead of her “Sweetener World Tour” date in Antwerp on Friday, August 30, but she had to bow out after suffering a series of panic attacks.
“Hi my loves. Time for some honesty,” she wrote in an apology email. “My anxiety and depression have been at an all time high lately. I have been giving you all I’ve got and trying to push through as hard as I can and mask it.”
“Today has been an extra rough one. After a handful of panic attacks, I feel like the wisest decision would be not to do sound check party or m&g (meet-and-greet) today and preserve my energy for the show. I don’t want to rush through our time together or seem shaky. I like spending actual time with you and I won’t be able to be present or give you the best of me today.”
Ariana Grande explained her decision to cancel Belgium meet-and-greet.
Ariana cancelled the meet-and-greet just days after wowing fans at Manchester Pride in England on Sunday, August 25. The show was her first performance in the city since she hosted the 2017 “One Love” benefit concert, staged to support fans and the families of victims killed in a bomb attack at her Manchester Arena gig in May, 2017.
