More information has surfaced about Billy Miller’s death.
As we’ve reported, the late Young and the Restless actor sadly passed away on Friday in Austin, Texas at just 43 years old. Little information was available at the time besides what his manager said about him “struggling with manic depression when he died.” However, his mother is now clarifying rumors surrounding his death.
On Monday, Patricia Miller spoke out about the devastating loss, telling Soap Opera Digest:
“He fought a long hard valiant battle with bipolar depression for years. He did everything he could to control the disease. He loved his family, his friends and his fans but in the end the disease won the fight and he surrendered his life.”
So, so sad. She added:
“The other causes of death being told are not true. I wish they were but they just aren’t. We all loved him so much and are desperately trying to deal with our loss.”
Such a painful way to lose a loved one. However, Patricia shared that the silver lining has been the “overwhelming” amount of love and support from fans:
“I want to personally thank the many fans & personal friends for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers & condolences sent to me and my family on the devastating death of my beautiful son.”
Our hearts continue to be with all of Billy’s loved ones during this unfathomable time. Share your support in the comments down below.
