Bon Jovi have released a new version of the song “Unbroken,” featuring Britain’s Prince Harry and a military choir, to raise awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
“Unbroken” appeared on the soundtrack to the documentary To Be of Service.
Money raised from sales of the song will go to the Invictus Games Foundation, which supports military personnel who have been injured in the course of their duties.
Prince Harry, who served in the British military, turned up to watch the recording of the track at London’s Abbey Road Studios in February.
Shortly after, the Prince quit his position as a senior member of the British royal family.
Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi, who provides lead vocals on the track, said, “With military people, there’s a way of being able to talk about the scars of war in a positive way.”
