Catherine Zeta Jones turned 50 yesterday.
The Welsh actress headed to the golf course to spend her milestone birthday playing a round of golf with husband Michael Douglas, who also celebrates his birthday on September 25.
The birthday girl took to social media to mark her special day and send birthday wishes to her spouse who turned 75.
She wrote on Instagram, in view of her 2.8 million followers, “Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, my husband Michael Douglas! and anyone else who was conceived around Christmas or New Years, Happy birthday to all.”
Also marking the day, the Hollywood actor sent a loving message to his wife via his own account, in view of his 288,000 followers.
Sharing a picture from the couple’s wedding back in 2000 he wrote: “Happy Birthday my darling! I love you so much and I cannot wait to celebrate our special day together!”
He then shared a picture of the couple on a golf buggy, along with the words: “Golfing with my [heart emjoi] on the big birthday!”
Documenting their special day in more detail, the award-winning actress took to her Instagram Stories with several video clips.
One captioned “killing it” showed the sports fan, who was wearing a personalised “CZJ” visor, hitting the ball and then dancing in the sunshine to celebrate her successful shot.
A few hours later, the pair donned their glad rags and were seen celebrating with friends at a busy restaurant.
The couple were presented with a joint birthday cake as music played out on the speakers.
In the short video, Michael can be seen leaning in to tenderly kiss his wife on the head.
According to Michael’s account, they then watched American rock band Cheap Trick! perform and danced the night away.
