For millions, they are as timeless as the show itself – regardless of the fact Friends hit our screens more than 25 years ago.
Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are television icons for a generation.
Their star will never fade of course, but even the cast of one of the world's most popular shows can't stop the hands of time.
Our favourites who played Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Ross will all have turned 50 by the end of August, with Matthew the last of the famous group to celebrate the milestone.
But the question is, which one of the stars have had a little help as they get older, and who has avoided the surgeon all together?
A spokesperson for MYA Cosmetic Surgery offers an industry insight.
Jennifer Aniston (Rachel)
"I would suggest Jennifer has had anti-wrinkle injections, often referred to as Botox, to her forehead and around her eyes (crow’s feet). This non-surgical treatment will create a smooth forehead and limit any frown/expression lines. The treatment will normally last 3-6 months; as muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again.
"This procedure can give the appearance of smoother skin if you are looking to achieve a youthful appearance, or it can be used as a preventative measure to slow the process of ageing.
"Jennifer has previously spoken openly about having a Rhinoplasty (often referred to as a nose job) to correct a deviated septum in her twenties. This surgery could explain the change in Jennifer’s nose but we believe she may have asked for a slender more natural bridge and tip, making it a cosmetic Rhinoplasty. The result of the procedure is very natural and still in keeping with the natural proportions of her face.
"Jennifer’s age-defying appearance may have had a little help from surgical and non-surgical procedures, although it’s obvious she has amazing genes."
Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe)
"Lisa has previously spoken openly about having a Rhinoplasty (often referred to as a nose job) at a very early age. Her nose following the surgery appears slimmer at the bridge and alar base, with a slightly raised tip. The result of the procedure is very natural and still in-keeping with the natural proportions of her face.
"The cost of a Rhinoplasty procedure depends on many different physiological factors, the techniques used and the surgeon performing the procedure. They typically range from £6,000-£10,000.
"It is possible that Lisa has had the non-surgical treatment of dermal fillers to her cheeks at some point in her career. Fillers plump up skin sections, as plumpness can be lost with the natural ageing process that both men and women go through. The procedure replaces soft tissue whilst filling in wrinkles/skin folds. I do not believe she has had any further non-surgical treatments recently."
Courtney Cox (Monica)
"Courtney has previously spoken about having the non-surgical treatment of dermal fillers to her cheeks. Filler plumps up skin sections, as plumpness can be lost with the natural ageing process that both men and women go through.
"The procedure replaces soft tissue whilst filling in wrinkles/skin folds. It’s possible that Courtney may have had more than the recommended amount of filler in her cheeks because she had what is called the “puffy look,” normally caused by over-filling – however I believe she has since had the filler dissolved and had a more natural amount injected, creating a slightly more natural youthful look than previously."
"I would also suggest Courtney has had anti-wrinkle injections, often referred to as Botox, to her forehead and around her eyes (crow’s feet). This non-surgical treatment will create a smooth forehead and limit any frown/expression lines. The treatment will normally last 3-6 months as muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again. This procedure can give the appearance of smoother skin if you are after a youthful appearance or it can be used as a preventative measure to slow the process of getting wrinkles.
"Courtney may have asked for a more youthful appearance with expressive facial movements, rather than the “frozen” look, which gives limited expression that she may have asked for in previous years.
"I would also suggest Courtney has undergone the non-surgical treatment of fillers to her lips. She looks great having scaled back to a natural amount of non-surgical treatments."
Matt LeBlanc (Joey)
"I would suggest that Matt has had the non-surgical treatment of anti-wrinkle injections to his forehead and frown lines at some point during his career, in order to slow the ageing process rather than to a achieve a drastic change to his appearance.
"This non-surgical treatment will create a smooth forehead and limit any frown/expression lines. The treatment will normally last 3-6 months as muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again. The results of this treatment do not need to make a dramatic difference as a small amount in the correct areas can go unnoticeable.
"This procedure can give the appearance of smoother skin if you are after a youthful appearance or it can be used as a preventative measure to slow the process of getting wrinkles.
"Matt clearly seems to be defying the ageing process."
Matthew Perry (Chandler)
"I do not believe he has had any cosmetic surgery or non-surgical treatments.
"However weight gain and weight loss and often make changes to facial features as well as the natural ageing process."
David Schwimmer (Ross)
