James Haskell has shared a photograph of him and estranged wife Chloe Madeley enjoying a 'team meal' with their daughter Bodhi, following their marriage split.
The ex-rugby ace, 38, and Chloe, 36, announced they'd separated after nearly 10 years together in October, but have continued to spend time together as they navigate co-parenting their daughter Bodhi, one.
On Sunday, 17 December, James took to Instagram to share a snap of him, Chloe and Bodhi in a restaurant together. James and Chloe sat opposite one another with Bodhi in a highchair next to her mum. A bottle of champagne could be seen in an ice bucket, with the former couple smiling for the camera.
"Team meal out," James simply captioned the photograph. Many of James' followers were quick to comment on the snap, as they praised the former couple for amicably co-parenting.
"Well done, I have no idea how you are doing this. Team coparenting the right way," one person said, while a second wrote: "Team Bodhi smashing it guys x".
James and Chloe's meet up comes after the ex-rugby player allegedly hit out at his estranged wife during a live show of his podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby alongside co-hosts Mike Tindall and Alex Payne. The trio did a live show in Bath on Friday 15 December.
According to reports, James had begun the show by asking the audience not to film because he was ‘in the papers enough at the moment’ and he needed the money because he was about ‘to lose half of it’.
He then joked that Chloe may struggle to find his cash because he ‘always forgets where he puts it – the Cayman Islands, Switzerland’ – before clarifying that he did not have ‘a pot to p**s in’.
James also went on to joke that his lawyer friend was now more of ‘a business partner' – apparently referencing the large amount of time and money that the divorce was likely to cost him.
He also was said to have embarked on an anecdote about fellow ex-rugby player Mike, 44, who is married to Princess Anne's daughter Zara, which left him open for a punchline at Chloe’s expense.
James said his pal was insensitive and "won't be reasoned with", before adding at the end: "Sounds like my wife actually.”
