Chrissy Teigen Hits Back at Troll Criticizing Her for Hiring Help

The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ co-host takes the criticism in stride after an Instagram user writes a sarcastic comment on her Black Friday post to express her gratitude for her household staff.

AceShowbiz -Having been dealing with tons of online criticisms, Chrissy Teigen wasn’t going to let an Internet troll ruin her mood during the Thanksgiving weekend. The model, who just turned 34 on Saturday, November 30, took it in stride when someone was mocking her for hiring help for her and John Legend‘s children’s Luna and Miles.

On Black Friday, the mother of two gave credit to her household staff and posted a photo of her two kids with three employees, who all bundled up while riding what looks like a golf cart. She captioned the cheerful snap, “Grateful for people that make our dysfunctional house functional.”

Not missing the chance to criticize Chrissy’s decision to hire help, the said hater wrote in the comment section, “Thankful for my household staff of chefs and nannies.” But the troll apparently forgot that the “Lip Sync Battle” co-host didn’t earn her title as the queen of clapback for nothing as she quickly responded with an equally sarcastic comment. “Literally just said that but you sure got me,” she wrote back.

Many have also come to Chrissy’s defense. “I could be too if I had them,” one person wrote. Agreeing with the previous commenter, another added, “Hey, if I could afford it, I’d have it too. Nice to have extra support for my kids!”

Chrissy and John previously faced criticism when they revealed their plans to hire a nurse even before their first child was born. She responded at the time, “A night nurse doesn’t replace you waking and feeding at night. You’re up with them. They’re helpers and teachers.” The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model also said, “I am so used to sharing our life that I forget how protective I will be soon. I cannot handle this kind of constant judgment!”

Earlier this year, Chrissy also acknowledged how much she relied on her household staff, saying in an interview with Vanity Fair, “I hate pretending that we do it on our own. We have daytime help, nighttime, weekend. I don’t know how my mom did it.”
