Chvrches lead singer and percussionist Lauren Mayberry has announced a solo tour.
The Scottish musician is set to embark on the tour in Washington, D.C., on September 4.
Mayberry will perform across North America, the United Kingdom and Europe.
In a social media post announcing her tour, Mayberry reflected on the 10th anniversary of the band’s debut album, The Bones of What You Believe.
“I met Iain [Cook] and Martin [Doherty] when I was 23 — a little baby of a person, in hindsight. Looking back on what we’ve achieved together, so much of it doesn’t feel real or even possible,” Mayberry said. “I am so proud of all the chapters our band has been able to have and I am so grateful to my bandmates for taking me on that journey with them.”
“We are all confident that the Chvrches story has many more pages yet to be written,” she added.
Mayberry revealed that she has been working on her first ever solo music and “will be able to start sharing it soon.”
