Dani Dyer has insisted she doesn’t care if people don’t like her baby son’s name Santiago.
The former Love Island star, 24, who recently admitted she hasn’t washed her hair since giving birth, opened up about the unique moniker as she took part in an Instagram Q+A.
When a follower asked: “What made you decide on the name Santiago? It’s such a lovely name by the way,” Dani explained: “My mum is half Spanish and she said the name to me a few times. Then I see it on a programme and I fell in love with it.” [sic]

She then added: “Love that it’s unusual and really doesn’t bother me when people say they don’t like it.”
Dani and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, 24, welcomed their baby boy on January 23 2021.
She wrote in a sweet Instagram post: "After a very long day and night our special little boy arrived 23/01/2021.

"Weighing 7 pound.. We are in a complete baby bubble and enjoying every moment, can not believe he is ours, completely in love and so grateful to be his mummy.." Dani gushed.
"Sending all my love to all the other mommas to be out there in lockdown.. the best experience ever will never forget this day."
Dani later revealed her son’s name on an episode of her podcast Sorted With The Dyers with dad Danny.

The actor began the episode by saying: "So this episode is going to start a bit differently as we've got some massive news. It's f****** huge.
"Because… I’m a Granddad! Yeah, Granddad Danny is what I’m now known as. And Dani has sent a voice memo to update us, which I think is very, very lovely…"
New mum Dani said: "I know you’re all probably wondering what we’ve called him. There’s been a lot of assumptions going on, some are actually really funny to be fair, but his name is Santiago."
"I know a lot of you are probably thinking “What?!” but that is his name but we are going to be calling him Santi."
Dani added that she thinks it’ll “sound nice on the birth certificate”.
The name of Santiago is of Spanish origin, and it translates to English as "Saint James".
