Danniella Westbrook has rubbished claims she split from her jailed boyfriend after earlier posting a cryptic post on social media.
Danniella, who last month was rushed to hospital after suffering a horrific panic attack, sparked concern when she posted a picture about having the worst taste in men.
This led some fans to think that the former Hollyoaks actress had separated from her boyfriend David, who is serving time over alleged counterfeit goods and affray.
While they initially split upon his jailing, Danniella and David rekindled their romance and she is now awaiting his release.
Despite the fact she shared the cryptic post with her 100,000 followers, a spokesperson for the actress told to The Mirror: “Danniella is very much still with her partner David and they have not split.”
Her post showed Cardi B accepting an award, which she captioned: “Me winning the award for having the worst taste in men.”
Danniella then took to her Instagram story where she posted a picture of Marilyn Monroe with the statement: “When only the best will do.”
Just last month, the former Big Brother housemate penned a Valentine’s Day tribute to 28 year old Liverpool local David with a throwback picture.
“Happiest of Valentine’s Day to my one and only, aka my bubba Scouse,” she wrote.
The couple first split up in August 2022, with a source close to the star telling The Sun: “Danniella and her prison boyfriend David have unfortunately decided to part ways after a really long and tough relationship.
"The pressures of him in prison and being unable to see Danniella properly meant that their relationship was extremely unstable. It’s been so difficult for Danniella but she’s decided to do what’s best for herself.
"She really did love him, she thought he was the one.”
The reality TV star’s representative addded: “We can confirm that Danniella has indeed split up with her partner, the decision hasn’t come lightly and it is a decision that she feels is best for her and her career at this moment in time.”
Speculation around their reunion began in December when Danniella posted a throwback picture with the words: “I got what I want for Christmas, just wish he would come home.”
After fans berated the star for potentially getting back together with David, she responded on her story and scathed: “People think when I keep letting their behaviour go unnoticed that I'm a soft touch…
“I'm not at all it's just I can't be bothered to waste energy & time letting them know," she added.
“Nothing annoys me more than when someone expects you to be okay with something that they wouldn't be okay with if you did it.”
