Denise Welch, 64, described how she had managed to lose “2 stone in 2 months” after embarking on an ambitious weight loss journey 10 years ago.
The Loose Women star opened up about how food had taken over her life when she chose to give up alcohol a few years ago, causing her to gain 2 stone.
However, with the help of weight loss experts, the former Waterloo Road actress was able to get her diet back on track and feel comfortable in her own skin again.
In view of her 395,000 Instagram followers, Denise shared photographs of herself on her weight loss journey.
While the actress was positively glowing in both swimwear snaps, there was a noticeable different between the first and second one.
In the first, Denise could be seen laughing on the beach as she held up her salmon pink bikini top, which appeared to be on the verge of falling off.
In the second picture, the Coronation Street star looked serene as she posed on a sun lounger in a bright green and white patterned swimsuit, which showed off her trim figure.
“10 yrs ago today I started my @lighterlife journey,” the TV personality wrote in the caption.
“I lost 2 stone in 2 months and became a proud ambassador, a title I hold to this day.
