James Bye has shared an emotional tribute to his former co-star Davood Ghadami as his final EastEnders scenes aired on Monday night.

Davood, 38, played Kush Khazemi on the hit BBC soap for almost seven years before his character was killed off at the hands of Gray Atkins in a heart-stopping episode.

The hunk has formed a number of friendships through his work on the show, forming a special bond with James, 37, who plays Martin Fowler.

James and Davood have spent a lot of time on screen together, becoming best friends and even sharing son Arthur, who was conceived when Martin's ex-wife Stacey Slater had an affair with Kush.
