“I got this wrong,” she admitted online.
“It is pronounced ‘fiefdom.'”
The host didn’t stop there either, as she went on to add: “Thanks everyone for helping me out.”
However, despite confessing to her error, one fan waded in to support the presenter.
They kindly penned: “Some people really do have too much time on their hands…”
Elsewhere, BBC News veteran Andrew Marr recently opened up about Emily’s previous comments regarding Boris Johnson’s adviser Dominic Cummings after she violated the BBC’s impartiality rules.
It comes after Piers Morgan interviewed Andrew on Good Morning Britain last month.
After Piers asked the broadcaster whether he thought Emily “crossed a line”, Andrew replied: “Every single Sunday I sit down with my editor and go through every phrase, every adjective, every syllable that I say.

It comes after Emily said Mr Cummings had “broken the rules” when he travelled from London to Durham during lockdown and “the country can see that, and it’s shocking the Government cannot”.
The BBC announced: “We’ve reviewed the entirety of last night’s Newsnight, including the opening section, and while we believe the programme contained fair, reasonable and rigorous journalism, we feel that we should have done more to make clear the introduction was a summary of the questions we would examine, with all the accompanying evidence, in the rest of the programme.
“As it was, we believe the introduction we broadcast did not meet our standards of due impartiality.”
Emily became the acting political editor of Newsnight in 2014 when she replaced Allegra Stratton.
