EMILY PRESCOTT: Take it as red – Monica Bellucci is up for a cocktail

EMILY PRESCOTT: Take it as red – Monica Bellucci is up for a cocktail as she attends Cesar Film Awards in Paris without director boyfriend Tim Burton

Last time she was out, she was spotted smooching new boyfriend, film-maker Tim Burton, as their four-month friendship went public.

But Italian actress Monica Bellucci was a lone star when she turned up for cocktails before the glittering 48th Cesar Film Awards in Paris on Friday without him.

Monica, 58, who once said ‘The way you dress is the way you express yourself,’ certainly did just that as she stunned in a fiery red gown accessorised with a diamond necklace.

In another of Europe’s fashion capitals, pop star Rihanna was spotted going out to dinner in Milan with her partner, rap star ASAP Rocky.

The We Found Love singer, 35, has revealed she is expecting her second child with the rapper and, sporting a silky apricot coloured dress and grungy bomber jacket to match, she appeared to be taking it all in her stride as she left seafood restaurant Langosteria Bistrot. Let’s hope, for baby’s sake, she didn’t touch any raw fish!

Katherine Ryan is ditching her PR team

Comedian Katherine Ryan is ditching her £4,800-a-month PR team – because she thinks there is no one on Earth who can salvage her public image.

Katherine who stars in the Netflix hit The Duchess and who is a regular panellist on quiz shows such as Have I Got News For You, says: ‘Everyone already thinks I’m a b**** and there’s no amount of PR that’s going to change that.’

Katherine, 39, is certainly familiar with image experts – she reckons many of the ‘top losers’ she meets on the school run work in the industry.

Succession star Jeremy Strong was unable to find the time to appear in Bradley Cooper’s upcoming film Maestro

Succession star Jeremy Strong is so in demand that he’s being double booked for projects and is having to drop out – causing chaos for scriptwriters.

Strong, 44, was unable to find the time to appear in Bradley Cooper’s upcoming film Maestro, and the whole project was rewritten to cut out his part.

Cooper stars as composer Leonard Bernstein in the biopic with Carey Mulligan as his wife Felicia.

Strong was clearly considered irreplaceable in the role of biographer John Gruen – so he was written out entirely.
