She styled her short auburn tresses loose as she flashed her gorgeous smile while posing for photos.

It comes after Emma was nearly unrecognizable as a brunette in the first trailer for her upcoming film Poor Things, which begins with footage of her character, Bella Baxter, undergoing shock treatment on a medical examination table.

In the 46-second preview of the science-fiction romance, based on the 1992 novel of the same name written by Alasdair Gray, the actress underwent a dramatic transformation to portray a woman, who was brought back to life by a ‘brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe),’ according to the movie’s synopsis.

For her role, the Cruella star swapped out her signature red tresses for a waist-length brunette wig and sported minimal makeup.

The teaser featured Emma raving that she finds ‘being alive fascinating’ after she is revived as well as acting a bit erratically as she spits out  her food in one scene, before slapping a man, named Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo) in the face.

Her character is described as a ‘volatile, oversexed, emancipated woman and a female Frankenstein.’

In the twisted thriller, Emma’s character drowns herself to escape her abusive husband and has her brain replaced by that of her unborn child.

In a 2018 interview with Interview Magazine, the fim’s director, Yorgos Lanthimos, spoke about his somewhat bizarre body of work which includes The Lobster.

‘I do enjoy awkwardness. I think it’s an important feeling for people that maybe generates some kind of thirst to wonder about things. As an audience member myself, I love to be in a position where I’m trying to figure out what I am supposed to feel, or if what I’m feeling is appropriate or not.’

Emma has kept busy since giving birth to her first child, a baby girl, named Louise Jean McCary, in 2021, including on her upcoming Showtime comedy series, The Curse, which also stars Nathan Fielder, Benny Safdie, Corbin Bernsen, Barkhad Abdi and Constance Shulman.

The series will explore ‘how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new HGTV show, Flipanthropy.’

Months after giving birth, the Golden Globe winner revealed she found motherhood ‘very, very exciting.’

According to TMZ, who have obtained a ‘copy of the birth certificate’, the star chose the name, Louise Jean McCary, as a sweet tribute to her grandmother, who is called Jean Louise.

In 2020, she and her husband, Dave McCary, ‘definitely’ tied the knot, according to Page Six.

They announced their engagement with a sweet social media post, which showed Stone flashing her stunning diamond and pearl ring, back in 2019.

The duo were reportedly set to wed in March 2020, but had to postpone the ceremony due to COVID-19.
