Gogglebox stars, brother and sister duo, Jane and Simon Minty have kept audiences entertained since they joined the hit Channel 4 show at later part of 2021.
Whilst Simon is co-host of the BBC podcast Ouch! and his Instagram bio describes him as a “disability consultancy and speaker”, little was known about what Jane did for a job when she wasn’t filming for Gogglebox.
Now, all has been revealed, as Jane posted a snap to the pair’s joint Gogglebox Instagram page of her working in a kitchen.
With her red-purple hair piled on top of her head, Jane smiled in black work gear as she held out a plate of what looks like lemon drizzle cake, dusted with icing sugar, and with a garnish of lemon on the side.
She captioned the snap: “Homemade cakes at work today …will try and save a piece for Simon to try!! Happy day at work.”
Fans flocked to the comments section to compliment Jane on her delicious-looking cake.

Another wrote: “Looking really nice Jane, I'm i right to say lemon cake..xx”
Someone else wrote: “Can't beat a bit of good homemade baking. Hope you enjoyed.”

Jane and Simon live in North London, and they’re loved by Gogglebox fans for their witty banter and funny comments on the show.
After the pair joined the show in October 2021, they were well-received by viewers.
One fan Tweeted: “I am absolutely loving them!!
Another said they were a “brilliant addition” to the award-winning television programme.
“Good start from Simon and Jane, like them already,” said another.
Gogglebox caused controversy on last Friday’s show, after showing a woman get seduced by a duck, which resulted in a shocking sex act – a clip from the Apple+ TV show Roar.
The episode, which Jane and Simon didn’t appear on, prompted TV regulation company, Ofcom, to receive 149 complaints.
The Gogglebox stars who were in the episode were visibly horrified as they witnessed the clip.
Longtime Gogglebox star, Giles turned to his wife Mary to wonder aloud, saying: “The duck can't physically…”
Mary replied to him saying: “Well he can Nutty, he can use his beak….”
Gogglebox continues Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
