Hayley Williams‘ lyric video for “Sugar On The Rim,” a song off her Petals for Armor album, features some behind-the-scenes footage of the singer recording the track.
“If you finish this song today, you can take a bath, read a book, go on a walk, go out to dinner or maybe you can go to the studio and see what those bozos are doing today,” Williams is seen telling herself in the video, which was released on June 30.
The visual shows Williams working hard in the studio with Taylor York, the producer of Petals for Armor. She is also seen reading the song’s lyrics, eating mango sorbet, and taking a nap.
Williams released Petals for Armor, her solo debut, on May 8.
It rose to No. 18 on the Billboard 200 list dated May 22.
Recently, the singer released lyric videos for “Over Yet,” “Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris,” “My Friend” and “Why We Ever.” She also shared a Zac Farro-directed video for “Dead Horse.”
