Sally Phillips, 52, revealed that she became so tipsy while filming in Thailand that Hugh Grant was left terrified of her “big mouth”. Her gossiping and vomiting irritated her fellow actor so much that he opted not to speak to her anymore.
Talking of the filming trip they took in Thailand, the actress confessed: “I lost my flip-flops in the sea and I was sick in the guitar bar’s sand toilet.”
The star, who filmed alongside Renée Zellweger in two Bridget Jones movies, added: “I got very drunk and was very indiscreet, and then he became afraid of my giant mouth.
“Now he doesn’t talk to me except on set… which is completely fair enough.”
Sally had confessed all about her drunken antics in an episode of the Richard Herring Leicester Square Theatre Podcast.

Her admission about her antics came hot on the heels of news that a new Bridget Jones film is in the making.
It has been six years since the last one, Bridget Jones’ Baby, during which the pregnant character was desperately trying to find out who the father could be.
Thus far, the film remains a rumour with no official release date set.
However, it is believed to have been co-written by Helen Fielding.
Back in July, reports in The Sun suggested that Bridget will be making a return to our screens with a youngster in tow, having given birth.
Some fans had believed the last movie was the final one, and that they would never see Bridget again.
However, a source revealed: “The producers always knew there was a huge market for another sequel when the right story was available, and this feels like the right time to tell it.
“It will be seven or eight years since the last movie by the time this one hits the big screen, and fans will be desperate to find out what happened.”
The films have grossed over $1 billion (£903,926,000) at the box office since the first release back in 2001, and producers are keen to harness the lucrative appeal of Bridget’s story with another sequel.
In the previous film, fans discovered that the father of Bridget’s baby wasn’t her new love interest, Jack Qwant, played by 56-year-old Patrick Dempsey.
Instead, Bridget discovered that it was her old flame, lawyer Mark Darcy (played by 61-year-old Colin Firth) who was responsible for her unexpected pregnancy.
Renée had previously revealed that she would love to reprise her role, as playing the troubled character had been “so much fun”.
Speaking on the Jess Cagle Show on Sirius XM, she had added: “I love being in her shoes [and] the choices that we get to make [on set] about just how awkward we can make her circumstances.”
As the world awaits the new movie, Sally has admitted it was her own real-life actions that became awkward for her cast members.
Meanwhile, Renée joked: “[People] find [Bridget] relatable, because she parallels our own life experiences.”
