However, she admitted she had packed a “stupid amount” of bikinis and clothes for her stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Which starts tonight.
Danielle, 31, let slip she was “very nervous” about the unknown tasks awaiting her in the jungle and confessed she is “a bit claustrophobic” so “small spaces with bugs in – I’m not going to be great with those”.
She also will avoid cooking for her fellow contestants as it always ends in disaster for her so will volunteer to look after the dunny instead.
After playing the character Lola Pearce-Brown in the BBC soap for 15 years she added “it’s nice to do something that is me for a change” by appearing on the ITV show.
But as she is “very bubbly and chatty” she was “looking forward to getting in there and getting to know people,” but ruled out a jungle romance.

She said: “Oh no, I’m in survival mode when I’m in the jungle I’ll just be thinking about what I’m going to eat in the Jungle – I could not think of anything like that.
“I’m just going in for the experience and to have – nothing like that at all.”

“I’ve looked at the pictures and thought ‘how are they doing that?’ They look stunning – my pictures would not be like that.
“I’ve got so many bikinis and so many clothes – a stupid amount. Obviously, you don’t know how long you’re going to be there. I’m like I don’t know if I’m going to do well or if I’ll be the first to leave.”
But she was “buzzing” to get in the jungle and having played Lola for so long her legions of fans may be in for a surprise adding: “I’m really excited ,I think maybe people don’t know what to expect or who I am really.”
