Many contenders have been lined up to be the next Mr Bond, but Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has claimed it’s his time to shine as the 007 agent.
In an interview with Esquire, former WWE star Mr Johnson confessed his grandfather was a Bond villain, acting alongside Sean Connery in the 007 film ‘You Only Live Twice’.
He said: “I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don’t want to be the villain, got to be Bond.”
Mr Johnson can currently be seen in Netflix’s ‘Red Notice’ alongside Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.
