Jamie Laing forced to borrow hotel staffs clothes on honeymoon amid lost luggage fiasco

Jamie Laing was unfortunately forced to borrow clothes from the staff working at his luxurious hotel in Panama, Central America when his luggage went missing.

The loved-up couple have been honeymooning in the stunning location just weeks after their destination wedding in Spain, but upon arrival 34 year old Jamie discovered his suitcase had gone astray during travel across four different countries.

The Made in Chelsea star's new wife Sophie Habboo, 29, made fun of him for the hilarious turn of events, as Jamie was landed in a sticky situation wearing only his boxers.

As the duo dealt with enquiries and attempted to solve the situation quickly, Jamie borrowed a number of clothes from a hotel employee.

Yet as the newly-married reality star explained to his fans on Thursday that his belongings had finally been found, unfortunately it wasn't the outcome he or Sophie had hoped for.

Jamie's case has been sent back to London, England, more than 5,000 miles away from the pair's romantic holiday, so the star has been wearing his boxers to relax by the swimming pool.

For dinner, he has been borrowing clothes from a member of "very kind" hotel staff, as the pair work out what to do next.

"One of a kind employees gave me their clothes," Jamie said on Instagram. "Staff flip flops, travelling trackies and one of the staff gave me one of their Lacoste shirts.

"He got it for Christmas, and Sophie likes the colour because it's green," the star added, as Sophie also cut in to explain the reason Jamie had to borrow clothing was due to them being on an isolated island without any shops.

Sharing a clip of her husband getting frustrated over his minimal clothing options during the daytime, Sophie teased: "Do his boxers look like shorts? lol."

"Do these look like shorts?" Jamie could be heard asking in the background, as Sophie replied they didn't.

"I need clothes Sophie!" Jamie then exclaimed, seemingly getting more and more stressed out by his situation, as Sophie then shared another video of her husband as she attempted to reassure him over his plight.

"They look like shorts. They look black shorts, sports shorts. Honestly," she insisted, going on to say: "Yeah, like you're doing P.E. training with that little top."

Despite Jamie's unfortunate travel plight, the pair have been determined to continue their honeymoon schedule as planned, with a day of snorkelling around their luxury resort.

Sophie has also been all smiles as she enjoyed showing off her fashion options for the trip, including a gorgeous geometric printed bikini.

Updating fans on his saga, Jamie most recently said: "Good news – apparently they found the luggage, apparently. Bad news is that they've sent the luggage back to London.

"So apparently they found the luggage which I actually don't think is true, but it's back in London. We're in Panama so what the hell is the point in that?

"If one more person tells me to pivot or I should have put clothes in Sophie's bag. We know, get an Air Tag!" the star added.
