Melissa Etheridge, 58, singer-songwriter, who sang at Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s wedding 20 years ago, has opened up about how the “beautiful” former couple will always share an “unbreakable bond”. She discussed whether she thought the Hollywood exes are likely to reunite, after setting tongues wagging at an awards show earlier this year.

While speaking on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Melissa reflected on their time together and said they were “beyond beautiful”.
She explained: “Oh you know what? I loved Brad and Jen together.
“They were beyond beautiful.”
Melissa then added that she thinks they will always remain close because of the type of bond they have.

The singer continued: “I believe they will always remain friends, because they’re two very special people that can get through anything.
“And I just hope that their friendship lasts, because they share one hell of an unbreakable bond”.
Soon after Melissa revealed her thoughts on the couple, fans of Brad and Jen rushed to Twitter to talk about the revelation.
One quipped after the show: “I guess Melissa Etheridge still has not got over the Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston divorce thing…”
Another added: “Omg, okay, this just cements the fact that they are made for one another. This is their wedding singer for goodness sake!”
“There’s no doubt that they are back together then.
“She didn’t deny it, infact, she kind of spelled it straight out!”(sic) claimed one excited fan.
Though their marriage was over in 2005, there have been recent rumours circulating over Brad and Jen “reconnecting”.

This came after the pair were pictured looking cosy during awards season, and Brad’s ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, 44, reportedly wasn’t too impressed with their public reconnection.
A source told The Sun: “And Brad’s very public reunion with Jen will also feel hurtful to her – it’s almost like, throughout their marriage, the public seemed to want Brad to get back with Jen.”
Angelina was also said to be “disrespected” after Brad publicly joked about their marriage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Soon after Brad collected his Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role award for Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, he said: “This role was a bit of a stretch.
“Guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, doesn’t get along with his wife.”
The same source also said: “Angelina won’t be happy – it feels hugely disrespectful to her to make a joke out of their marriage problems in front of a room full of their peers.
“She’d never do that to him.”
