Jeremy Paxman puts on brave face as he’s pictured using cane at awards

The broadcaster cracked a smile as he stopped for cameras on the red carpet at the Royal Horse Guards Hotel.

He wore a navy blue suit with a bright red tie and used a cane as he made his way into the glitzy event. 

After 30 years of hosting University Challenge, Jeremy revealed he would be stepping down as host due to his diagnosis. 

Last year, 18 months after he announced his Parkinson’s diagnosis, Jeremy shone a light on the condition with his TV documentary, Paxman: Putting Up With Parkinson’s.
