Strictly Come Dancing contestant Judi Love has said she is feeling "exhausted" after testing positive for Covid-19 this week.
The Loose Women star told fans on Thursday (21 October) that she'll be missing this week's live show after contracting the virus.
Writing in her weekly column for OK!, the star said: "It was supposed to be such a busy week last week with Strictly training and other commitments I had booked up.
"I was meant to be dancing the Cha Cha Cha this past weekend, but sadly everything changed as I tested positive for Covid-19. I experienced cold-like symptoms and so took a test, and was upset to see it came back positive."
Judi continued: "At the time of writing this column, I’m feeling lethargic and achy, but I’m hoping to rest up and kick it as soon as I can."
The star, 41, went on to say her diagnosis was a shock, as she explained: "Obviously, I was really shocked and this reminded me how things can just change and how important it is to keep testing and social distance."
Thankfully, the star says her children and dance partner, Graziano Di Prima, are all okay at the moment.
She said: "Graz has been so supportive and I’m happy to hear that he has tested negative. I was also so worried for my children, but thankfully they have tested negative."
OK! has reached out to representatives for Graziano Di Prima for comment.
Judi added that she was "heartbroken" to be missing her time on the dance floor this week.
She said: "Missing time from Strictly is hard and I'm heartbroken as I'd been training so hard. Of course, I’ve been worrying how Covid will affect me physically, too.
"All I can say is that my team, everyone at Strictly and my wonderful loved ones have been an amazing support."
It was confirmed by a Strictly spokesperson on Thursday that Judi would be missing from the competition this weekend.
"Judi Love has tested positive for Covid-19 and is now self-isolating following the latest government guidelines," they said.
"While Judi and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week.”
