Kate Middletons brother James shares adorable insight into familys Jubilee celebrations

Kate Middleton's brother James shared a cute insight into his celebrations for the Queen to mark her big Jubilee weekend.

James' sister Kate was front and centre at the Jubilee festivities on Thursday as she joined Her Majesty on the balcony at Buckingham Palace with her husband Prince William, and their three children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, four.

And the Duchess of Cambridge's brother got in on the royal joy as he took to his Instagram account with a snap of his pet pooch Ella looking up at the camera while wearing a Union Jack bandana.

The 35 year old wrote in the caption: "From one matriarch to another, wishing Her Majesty all the best on her special Jubilee," alongside a brown and British flag emoji.

James' followers couldn't help but gush over the sweet snap, with one person commenting: "Aw such a cute tribute."

Another wrote: "Oh how sweet is this! #BeautifulPooch," while a third added: "Adorable photo – long live the queen!!!!"

A fourth said: "How darling is this?!! Original & very sweet! I'm sure the Queen would love this because she loves dogs so very much!!"

James took to his Instagram Stories to continue to show what he got up to as Jubilee celebrations kickstarted.

He shared another short clip of his pet surrounded by other dogs and Union Jack flags as they made their way to the village of Stanford Dingley.

Meanwhile, James' sister Kate showed off her parenting skills with youngest son Prince Louis during the Queen's official birthday flypast on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on Thursday.

Appearing with the rest of the working royals alongside Her Majesty the Queen on the balcony, Louis struggled to focus and started fiddling and sucking his thumb.

Monitoring the situation carefully, the Duchess of Cambridge wasted no time telling her son to stop messing around.

Prince Louis was layer spotted covering his ears due to the loud noise of the planes.

Prince William later returned to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the evening, where he supported the Queen at Buckingham Palace as the Tree of Trees was lit up to celebrate his grandmother's 70 years as the head of state.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then took to Instagram to reflect on the day, posting a photograph of the Tree of Trees, which stands 70ft tall in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

They wrote: "Day one of the #PlatinumJubilee. It's been lovely to see so many of you out today and see how you're already enjoying this weekend, celebrating Her Majesty The Queen."
