Katie Price teams up with X Factor winner Sam Bailey on a new song

Katie Price is dipping her toe back into the music business with a little help from someone who has been there and done that.

Katie is working with former X Factor champion Sam Bailey on a new song, and recording is already underway.

The Loose Women star shared a clip on her Instagram page of Sam doing her thing in the studio.

‘Can’t wait for you guys to hear this,’ she shared on Stories.

The mum of five also got in the booth herself to sing her heart out in a bid to create a smash hit.

From the sounds of it they are recording covers of classic songs including Gloria Estefan’s 1-2-3 and Don’t Walk Away by girl group Jade.

Whether they will form part of an album of covers or just an EP type thing is yet to be revealed.

She previously teased her summer single Hurricane, and even entered a competition to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005.

The 41-year-old has spoken about her dreams of storming the charts in the past.

In 2017 the TV star gamely sang her single I Got U live on Loose Women, which was written by former X Factor star Craig Colton.

Speaking about relaunching her music career at the time, she said: ‘I’m doing this because it is my passion. I’m doing it because I can do it and I will do it.’

However she received a fair bit of backlash about her vocals, which Craig put down to issues with her inner ear piece.

He tweeted: ‘Singing when you have inner ear difficulties is very hard for even for most professional. Singing live and carrying on is a professional.’

Whatever her project with Sam is, we’re sure she’ll have the full support of her new bestie, Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry.

The pair enjoyed a wild night out together, with the reality TV star giving Katie a lapdance in full view of everyone.
