Laura Whitmore has revealed her first date with boyfriend Iain Stirling started out at a comedy gig.
The 35 year old, who recently shocked fans by braving the sea at Merseyside wearing nothing but a rainbow bikini, took to her Instagram feed to recount the story to her 1.2million followers.
The blonde beauty shared a photo of herself sipping on a cold pint as she told fans that many of her "favourite memories" have been at the pub with pals.

The caption, which was an ad attempting to encourage people to go along to their local pub, read: "AD Cheers to the weekend! Happy to be supporting our local.
"Some of my favourite memories are from an impromptu night at my local pub. A little community in a big city that’s a home away from home."
The Irish presenter, who recently shared tips on how to host the perfect virtual dinner party, then recalled how her first date with rumoured fiancé Iain, 32, went.

"I went to a comedy gig on my first date with my partner ( HIS idea not mine) it was ok but we didn’t talk because we were in a dark room watching a man I didn’t know tell jokes on the stage," she explained, followed by a laughing emoji.
Laura continued: "It was only in the pub after that the date got good. When we chatted, it was relaxed and safe… and easy. Many of the traits of our local."
She ended her little story by asking her legion of fans: "What’s your favourite memory from your local?@CarlingUK #supportyourlocal drinkaware.co.uk".

It comes as Laura and Iain recently celebrated their three year anniversary.
The pair began dating back in 2017 and worked on the most recent series of Love Island together as Laura hosted the ITV2 dating show, following the tragic death of Caroline Flack, and Iain continued his narrating duties.
To mark three years with Iain, Laura posted a lovely picture of the two lying on grass next to each other as they basked in the sun. She simply but sweetly captioned the snap: “3 years.”
