Everyone’s favourite daytime presenter Lorraine Kelly, 61, shared a rare snap of her brother Graham and his partner, but was told off by her daughter Rosie for not picking the best photo. The hilarious response comes after the ITV star revealed she was missing her family, who live in Singapore, and hoped to visit them soon.

Posting the loving photo to Instagram of the couple sharing a hug and smiling at the camera, she captioned it: “My baby brother Graham and his beautiful partner @anisajohnny.

“Miss you both and looking forward to visiting @singapore soon!! #family #singapore.”

But Rosie pointed out she could have chosen a better picture for her sweet tribute.

The 26-year-old posted from her pet’s account and poked fun at her mum’s error.

“Mum his eyes are closed,” she wrote alongside a laughing emoji.

But Lorraine wasn’t fazed, as she replied jokingly: “I know, he’s Forrest Gump,” referring to the infamous Tom Hanks film, where his character Forrest Gump appears in every photo with his eyes closed.

The presenter has previously spoken about her brother and how she used to “resent” him when she was little as they embarked on sibling rivalry.

She told The Guardian back in 2014 that it was a “terrible shock” when Graham was born.

“I was six when my younger brother Graham came along and it was a terrible shock,” she recalled her reaction.

“I’d been a spoiled little princess and then this angel appeared. People used to stop my mother in the street because he was so adorable.

“I resented him and we fought like cat and dog.”

She added: “It wasn’t until I left home that we came to appreciate each other and now we’re best friends.”

Elsewhere, Lorraine responded to a worried fan who tuned into her self-titled ITV show to share their concerns over her bringing Rosie’s new puppy into the studio to introduce it to viewers.

The sausage dog called Ruby, melted fans’ hearts as the presenter proudly displayed her “grandpuppy”, who was wearing a knitted coat.

The host gushed: “She’s teeny tiny. She’s meeting our other dog, Angus, next week.”

However, following the puppy’s debut, some viewers expressed their concern that Ruby could have overheated under the studio lights in her jumper.

One Twitter user told Lorraine: “@reallorraine coat to hot for dog in studio.”

Fortunately, Lorraine was quick to reassure the viewer, as she insisted the ITV studios are always kept “very, very cool”.

She wrote back in view of her 644,000 followers: “We always keep the studio very very cool and Ruby was fine but thanks so much for your concern xxx.”

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
