Love Island viewers were left cringing as Lana Jenkins ‘friendzoned’ Will Young during an awkward chat on Wednesday’s episode.
Will was left as the only single person in the villa after Tuesday’s episode when newcomer Tom Clare chose to couple up with Olivia Hawkins.
Not wasting any time, Will immediately got to work on Lana, pulling her aside for a chat by the pool to see how she felt about him.

However, things didn’t go to plan for the farmer as Lana admitted she doesn’t see him in a romantic way.
Lana told Will that Ron, who she is currently coupled up with, is the only guy she has feelings for in the villa.
Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: ‘Lana shut Will down so fast!’ while another said: ‘Why’s Will on Lana like a lost puppy’.
A third viewer said: ‘Respect to Lana the way she friendzoned Will and hasn’t lef him on but dude has no game’.

It comes after fans declared their love for Will after he was left single following bombshell Tom ‘stealing’ Olivia from him.
Despite being put in a vulnerable position, Will took the recoupling in his stride, telling Tom that he believed he and Olivia were a better match.
One fan shared: ‘Can’t lie I have a soft spot for Will’, with another adding: ‘Pls I’m rooting for farmer Will.’

During the episode, following the recoupling for Tom and Olivia, Will declared that he had to ‘graft a little harder now.’
Later in the Beach Hut Will said: ‘[I’ve] got to do a lot of grafting, do a lot of talking and try to take in as much as possible.’
