Amber and Greg EXCLUSIVE: Love Island winners confirm they’re now an OFFICIAL couple… as she brands ex Michael rekindling his romance with Joanna ‘weird’
Love Island winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea have given their first interview since leaving the villa and told MailOnline they’re now exclusively dating.
The couple won the hearts of the nation after dating one another for just two weeks after 21-year-old Amber’s cruel split from Michael Griffiths, 27.
And the beautician claims it’s ‘weird’ that Michael has rekindled things with Joanna Chimonides, 22, after trying to get back with her before he left the show.
Amber and Greg EXCLUSIVE: The Love Island winners revealed they’re now an OFFICIAL couple just hours after winning the show after dating for two weeks
During the interview, Greg, 24, turned to Amber and said: ‘I think we’re exclusive what do you think?’
Amber simply replied: ‘Yeah I think, yeah.’
Greg added: Yeah, definitely. We’re both quite loyal and we’re really into each other at the moment, even though it’s early stages, so definitely we’re only seeing each other.’
Sounding shocked to hear that Michael and Joanna had been pictured looking close, Amber said: ‘Are they together? Am I surprised? Yes.
Sealed with a kiss: During the interview, Greg, 24, turned to Amber and said: ‘I think we’re exclusive what do you think?’

Ouch! Amber thinks it’s weird Michael rekindled things with Joanna, saying: ‘I didn’t see much of their relationship but Michael definitely tried to come back to me’ (pictured on Saturday)
‘I didn’t see much of their relationship but Michael definitely tried to come back to me so I think that’s a bit weird but I don’t want to say too much about that.’
Despite Greg only being on the show for a fortnight, Amber doesn’t believe she would have won with her ex, Michael, by her side.
She said: ‘I don’t think I would have won with Michael because she people would have felt that I was stupid to go back to him after everything.
‘The only time I thought about quitting the show was after I returned from Casa Amor and saw Michael standing with Joanna.’
It’s probably true: Despite Greg only being on the show for a fortnight, Amber doesn’t believe she would have won with her ex, Michael, by her side

But it’s a good job she stayed as the pair walked away with £50k shared between them which they are both planning on spending wisely and they are both expected to become millionaires by Christmas.
Greg said: ‘[I’m going to buy] a little treat here and there and probably invest the rest. I know that sounds boring, but that’s probably the smartest thing to do.’
Amber added: ‘I‘ll probably get one designer item and then save the rest.’
It’s hard to keep up: Michael had dumped Amber for Joanna but tried to crack back on with Amber when she left, before cracking back on with Joanna after HE left
The couple are planning to keep things going despite Greg living in Dublin and Amber being based in Newcastle, with Greg saying, ‘it’s only a short flight away.’
Amber still can’t believe the couple won after being pitted against Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, because they were already in an actual relationship.
And Amber says she bears no ill will towards Maura Higgins, who pulled a rather savage expression when Amber and Greg were named as the winners.
in shock: The pair can’t believe they won and Tommy and Molly-Mae (pictured) didn’t as they have been in a relationship for a while
Laughing, she said: ‘I think Maura’s expression was to do with the fact that Ovie was overwhelmingly happy and was screaming and shouting.
‘I think she got a shock that he was reacting because he was so happy for us … I think everybody was surprised that we won. Even we are!
‘I wouldn’t be mad at Maura if she was. We couldn’t believe it either!’
Greg also said: ‘I don’t feel guilty about coming into the villa at the very end and winning because I came in and put a smile on Amber’s face.’
