Love Island star Amy Hart has reacted to the moment the “mortifying” scene of her and Curtis Pritchard arguing on the reality show was replayed at the National Television Awards on Tuesday 28 January.
During the introduction of one of television’s biggest awards nights, both Amy, 27, and her former flame Curtis, 23, were sat in the their seats at the London O2 Arena when television highlights from the past year were played out to the audience and the viewers at home.
One of the chosen highlights just so happened to be the former flight attendant confronting professional dancer Curtis about why he doesn’t stay in bed to cuddle her in the mornings, to which he replied: “I need to make everyone coffee in the morning otherwise they won’t have energy for the day ahead.”
And while Curtis’ new flame Maura Higgins, 29, who he was sat next to during the ceremony, laughed at the throwback clip, Amy’s ex half-boyfriend looked rather uncomfortable.
The cringe-worthy moment didn’t go unnoticed by viewers who took to Twitter to share their amusement.
