Love Island’s Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea are loved-up ever since they met on the ITV2 show this summer and went on to win the series.
However, the pair have been apart in the weeks since Love Island ended, with Greg returning home to his native Ireland to continue with his rugby career.
Amber was in London over the bank holiday weekend, where she attended Notting Hill Carnival for the first time.
On Monday Amber hung out with her fellow islander and close pal Anna Vakkili, who shared a cute video of Amber, 22, and Greg, 24, talking on the phone.
Anna filmed Amber relaxing in a chair and chatting to Greg, before the Newcastle beautician spotted her pal filming her.
Amber – who recently hinted at a feud with other islanders – laughed and waved Anna away, as Anna teased her by saying: “She’s chatting to Greg!”, while she called them lovebirds in her caption.
Amber shared pictures of herself at Notting Hill Carnival on Sunday to her Instagram, where she stunned in a blue dress and white slip-on heels.
She captioned the two pictures of herself with: “I’m no longer a Notting Hill carnival virgin And got to be pampered too! Loved meeting you all at the @sheamoistureuk tranquility pod. The haircare range is unreal. I had the best day#sheavillage#hairsaviour #beauty #hair#haircare #carnival #ad.”
Amber revealed that her romance with Greg is going “really well” during a recent interview with radio hosts Rob Howard and Lauren Layfield, in for Roman Kemp, on Capital Breakfast.
Speaking about Greg, Amber said: “Things are going really well but he’s got to be over in Dublin for his rugby and I’m kinda over here in London, so at the minute we can’t really decide what we’re going to do.”
Amber also spoke about her ex Michael Griffiths, 27, after the pair’s turbulent relationship in the villa.
She said she hasn’t spoken to Michael since Love Island filming ended and has no plans to get in contact with the firefighter.
When asked if she’s had “any chat” with Michael, Amber simply replied: “No”.
Rob then followed up by asking if at any point she’s been temped to get in touch with the Manchester lad. Again Amber replied with a firm: “No”.
Still curious, he asked Amber if she has any plans to speak to him in the future and once again the star answered a simple: “No”.

Love Island 2019 winners: Amber and Greg
Amber recently flew to Ireland for the weekend to spend time with Greg and meet his family and friends.
Since returning from Ireland, Amber has uploaded a new image of herself from her trip – enjoying a pint of Guinness.
Fondly reflecting on her time away, she captioned the post: "When in Ireland," alongside an emoji depicting a glass of beer.
The upload comes after she posted a number of images and videos alongside hunky Greg as they made memories in his homeland.
One gorgeous photo showed the pair on the famous Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, as they posted in front of the picturesque landscape.
Amber captioned the upload: "Visiting Ireland with the best tour guide," next to shamrock and love heart emojis.
Greg was quick to comment on her post, sweetly replying: "First of many visits."
Newcastle native Amber also took to her story across the weekend to announced to fans that Greg had taken her to watch the All Ireland hurling final between Kilkenny and Tipperary at Dublin's iconic Croke Park stadium.
She hilariously admitted that she didn't understand the rules of the game, but that didn't stop her from enjoying spending time with her partner at the sporting event.
Sharing a short clip of the venue, she wrote: "No idea what's going on but having fun," as she gave fans another preview of her trip.
