Love Island's dumped star Haris Namani has said that he was "devastated" to leave the villa in his first TV interview on spin-off, Love Island: Aftersun on Sunday night.
Appearing on the show with fellow former islander, Anna-May Robey, who was dumped from the villa alongside Haris, he said that he already missed Olivia Hawkins, with whom he had been coupled up.
Speaking to show host Maya Jama, Haris revealed that while he was in the villa he hadn't known that Olivia was having secret chats with Tom Clare, but was aware that he was still on her mind.
He then added that he was "devasted" to have been dumped from the island, but that "what will be will be."
Haris insisted that prior to his exit, he and Olivia had been "in a good place", although he did know that there was something going on between Olivia and Tom.
He said: "Tom was always in the picture but I always backed myself, because I had Tanyel on my side. She was the girl who told me quite a lot of things."
He continued, adding that he didn't think Tom and Olivia were that close, and that he offered her more affection than Tom did.
It comes after Haris broke his silence over the emergence of a video clip that saw the professional boxer involved in a street fight a few years ago.
"I’m devastated that this video has been seen, it’s not a reflection of my character," he said.
"I’m not someone that goes looking for fights and I didn’t want to be in that situation. This was a heat of the moment thing."
The reality TV star went on to say that while the video looked bad, some positives came out of the situation.
"The video doesn’t show everything that happened," Haris claimed. "Afterwards we met up and we cleared the air. We’ve shaken hands and we get along now. It’s not something that would happen again," the former Love Islander added.
Following Haris's dumping from the villa, Olivia has remained on the show, and has continued to pursue Tom.
However, despite telling Olivia that he wants to rekindle their romance, following his and Zara Lackenby-Brown's split, Tom was later seen kissing bombshell Ellie Spence on the terrace.
Agreeing to keep their snog a secret from the islanders, it's unclear what's next in store for Tom, Ellie and Olivia.
