Maisie Smith moves out of family home to live with Max George in big relationship step

Max George and Maisie Smith have taken the next step in their relationship, as former Eastenders actress Maisie packed up and left her family home in Essex to move in with her beau in Manchester.

Maisie, 21, and The Wanted's Max, 34, have been dating since last summer, after getting together two years on from meeting on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020.

Since then, their relationship has been going from strength to strength, as the pair have embarked on a number of holidays and often share loved-up snaps together.

Maisie's mum Julia was clearly emotional as she posted a video compilation to Instagram of her daughter packing up her things, with boxes strewn around the kitchen.

The actress could then be seen wheeling her suitcase to her blue Audi and popping it into the boot, before the clip cut to Max's bulldog Albert chilling in the front seat of the car.

Posting the video, Maisie's mum wrote: "Good luck in your new home @maisiesmithofficial".

Maisie then commented: "Feeling [fleeing] the nest," with a bird emoji.

One of Julia's followers commented: "@maisiesmithofficial @maxgeorge Good Luck to you both your a beautiful and amazing couple. Such an honor to meet you both here in Eastbourne on Maisies Birthday."

Another said: "good luck in your new home @maisiesmithofficial"

Neither Max or Maisie have officially marked Maisie moving in together on Instagram just yet, but no doubt the couple are currently in the throes of unpacking and making Max's place theirs together.

Maisie recently branded Max as "The One" as she defended their 13 year age gap and said she was looking forward to the couple spending time together now she is no longer touring the country for Strictly Ballroom: The Musical.

“Wherever I am, he’s had to travel to and he’s been so supportive,” gushed the star in an interview with Fabulous, before admitting she was keen to have some downtime with Max in the coming months.

Now head over heels for the singer, Maisie even admitted he’s “The One” as she looked towards their future together, which so far has been very much left in the “honeymoon stages".

“I wrote in my Valentine’s card this year ‘from strangers to friends, friends to lovers’, and I love the way that it happened for us,” explained Maisie, before confessing she hadn’t ever expected them to have such enduring chemistry – or for her to feel as happy as she does now.

One of the reasons the couple seemed to gel so well according to Maisie, is down to the fact Max has accepted her completely – including the “worst” parts of herself.
