“And that is good enough.”
Essex Police said in a statement: “We were called to an address in Brentwood Road, Bulphan shortly before 3.15pm on Thursday 21 January.
“Sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Mick’s son Kirk has not yet commented on the sad news of his dad’s passing.
Alongside his photo with Kirk, Mick’s girlfriend Samantha Keahey posted a number of pictures of the couple last year, some of which were shared last month.
Mick is survived by his sons Kirk, Mason, Daniel and daughter Hollie.
The reality TV star also has three grandchildren.
Mick first joined The Only Way Is Essex cast in 2010 and his Sugar Hut establishment was regularly featured on the show with the cast frequently attending the popular club.

The businessman joined his son Kirk on the ITV2 series.
The father and son duo were popular with viewers alongside fellow stars such as Mark Wright and Gemma Collins.
However, in 2013 Mick admitted he felt, while the programme had raised the platform of the venue, it was damaging the brand.
“My club is an upmarket venue where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled,” Mick explained.
“All these rows they keep filming don’t show the club in a good light and I’m worried it’s putting people off coming, which is the last thing I want.”
He continued: “I would never allow that to happen in my venue. I’ve had enough. I’m out.”
Mick decided to quit the reality series in 2013 and went onto become a property developer.
Gemma was one of many TOWIE stars to pay tribute to Mick, saying in an Instagram post: “ALWAYS A GENTLEMAN. Absolutely shocked and saddened by the news.
“My thoughts and prayers are going out to Kirk family and friends absolutely tragic.
“The memories of the early days, the sugar hut and the wonderful filming parties you put on will never be forgotten. You never know what someone is going through. You was one of the good guys.”
