Miley Cyrus packed on the PDA with another woman as she snogged Brody Jenner's ex as her split from husband Liam Hemsworth was announced.
Just a short time after Miley and Liam's split was officially announced, she was pictured all over Kaitlynn Carter during a girls' holiday to Lake Como.
Miley and Liam's 10-year on and off romance has come to a grinding halt less than a year after their romantic low-key wedding, and Kaitlynn also recently split from her husband, The Hills star and son of Caitlyn Jenner, Brody, although their marriage in Indonesia wasn't legal as they didn't have a license.
Miley and Kaitlynn have been friends for a long time and seemingly decided to celebrate their new singledom by snogging each other's faces off.
The pals were pictured all over each other as they lazed on sunloungers by the pool.
Miley, 26, looked as gorgeous as ever in a tiny black bikini, letting her wet brunette locks hang loose as she climbed out of the pool.
Kaitlynn, 30, looked stunning too in a pastel yellow strapless two-piece.
The girls couldn't keep their hands off each other and looked to be completely smitten.
Lying by the pool, Kaitlynn lay on top of Miley's arm and they held hands as they used hats to shields their eyes from the sun.
Miley – who has been open about being sexually attracted to women as well as men – and Kaitlynn almost constantly had their bodies entwined as they soaked up the sun.
They appeared to lock lips on a number of occasions, with Kaitlynn sitting up and bending down to plant a kiss on Miley's mouth.
Getting into the moment, Miley, who was pictured without her wedding ring before news of the split dropped, sat up and wrapped her arm around Kaitlynn's shoulders to pull her closer.
A third friend didn't seem to mind as Kaitlynn and Miley lay snogging each other's faces off right next to her.
Yesterday, a spokesperson for Miley told People : "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.
"Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
"They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart.
"Please respect their process and privacy."
In July, Miley opened up about her sexuality, admitting she's "still sexually attracted to women" despite being married to Liam , 29.
The Malibu singer tied the knot with hunky actor Liam in December last year, 10 years after they first met and fell in love on the set of movie The Last Song.
But despite her "hetero marriage" to Liam, the singer says she's "still sexually attracted to women" and that people are often "confused" by her "complex and modern" marriage.
Miley, who says she identifies as Queer, opened up about her sexuality and her relationship in a candid chat with Elle magazine.
