Millie Bobby Brown has come a long way since her breakout starring role in Stranger Things. But as she showed on the carpet of the 2020 Screen Actors Guilds Awards, some things just never change.
She donned a long-sleeve, v-neck dress and matching pants by Louis Vuitton. The look also featured pronounced shoulders, a belt, and an oversized brooch—factors that all contribute to the ’80s wedding vibes it imparted. It recalled the dress that she wore to her first red carpet appearance at the premiere of the popular Netflix show, which also had us hearing church bells chiming.
However, unlike that look, which was sweet and made for a tween, this LV ensemble seems to ring in a more grown-up Brown. The young starlet is still only 15 years old, but is giving us major Dynasty vibes.
According to an interview she had on the red carpet, Brown had a hand in designing the dress-and-pant combo with creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere.
She also expressed how her career was put into the fast lane since the debut of Stranger Things just three years ago: “It’s changed drastically, it’s also like my [formative] years, being a teenager.”
Her love of a white look has clearly stayed consistent.
