Loose Women star Penny Lancaster has been pictured taking her beloved dogs on a shopping trip near her home today. The 50-year-old TV star headed to discount store Homesense, which is part of the TK Maxx family, to grab a bargain for her Essex mansion.
The mother-of-two said the home furnishing outlet was her “favourite shop”.
She went on to point out that it was not only her favourite store, but her dogs’ favourite as well.
She posted a picture of her adorable pooches Bubbles and Lily sitting in a shopping trolley in the store after purchasing her items.
“Not just my favourite shop [winking face],” she captioned the social media snap, which she shared with her 116,000 Instagram followers.
Mum-of-two Penny is married to Sir Rod Stewart, who is certainly not short of a penny or two.
The 76-year-old rocker is reportedly worth £215 million.
According to the Sunday Times Rich list, he is the 12th wealthiest millionaire in music.
The couple, who share two sons together, live in a £4.65 million grade II listed property near Harlow.
Her outing comes days after she was photographed in her police uniform while on patrol in London.
Penny qualified as a Special Constable with the City of London Police force in April earlier this year.
She decided to join the force after appearing in Channel 4 documentary series Famous and Fighting Crime back in 2019.
The Maggie May hitmaker has been very supportive of her new role, but does worry about his wife when she is on a shift, according to Penny.

“I can’t really message him on the job.
“But I always text him when I get back to the station to reassure him before he puts his head down,” she continued.
When she’s not working, Penny tends to her ever-growing collection of animals at home to help her relax and switch off.
In addition to her dogs, she looks after goats and chickens on the grounds of her property.
Penny also likes to cook and will take part in the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.
The Loose Women star will showcase her cookery skills on BBC One this month when she takes on 19 well-known figures including Sue Pollard, Joe Swash and Michelle Collins.
This year’s series, which was filmed in February during lockdown, will feature some exciting new challenges.
