Miranda Lambert Dedicates Performance Of ‘Bluebird’ To Frontline Workers

Miranda Lambert played an acoustic version of her latest single “Bluebird” at the end of ” The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last Friday.

At the start of the performance from her Tennessee home, the country singer dedicated the song from her latest album, Wildcard, to first responders who are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

Lambert began her performance by thanking the “first responders and health care workers and grocery store people that are keeping us safe and fed.”

Separately, Lambert posted on Instagram a picture of a tree that was uprooted by the storms in her rural estate in Tennessee, where she has been in quarantine with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

“The storms that came through TN this weekend took a toll on our farm. So very thankful no one was hurt including animals and structures. A ton of huge old trees just uprooted and snapped in half. I know, like us, a lot of folks in Nashville and surrounding areas don’t have power. I think that’s the lesson, for me anyway.
God keeps reminding us who’s in charge,” she wrote.
