Molly-Mae reflects on baby name speculation and hints she dropped about Bambi

Molly-Mae Hague opened up about fans trying to guess her daughter's name before her birth and even revealed that she teased her name months before the announcement.

It's been three months since Love Island star Molly-Mae, 23, and her boyfriend Tommy Fury, 23, welcomed their first child into the world and became first-time parents.

One of the most anticipated parts of the birth for the fans was the name reveal. And one week after the birth, the couple announced on Instagram that they'd named their daughter Bambi, which was a name Molly-Mae had been wanting to name her daughter since she was a little girl.

On Monday, the former Love Island star had a Q&A on her Instagram Story where she answered questions that her fans had submitted.

Turning the subject to Bambi, one fan went asked: "What did you think of everyone guessing your baby name as cloud and halo?"

Molly replied: "I thought it was cute.

"I just love individual names so much… I was in a class at school with 3 Mollys and I always wished I had a name no one else had.

"People did also guess Bambi! As I did used to give a few very small hints."

Another fan then went on to ask what kind of hint she'd given out regarding her daughter's name.

In response, she posted a photo of herself wearing black shorts and an oversized t-shirt with a doe on it that also had the text "good spirits" on it.

She first posted this photo in July last year, where she wrote the caption "Good Spirits" along with a deer emoji and a brown heart to go with it.

Love Island star Maura Higgins picked up on the reference at the time, as she wrote: "The T-shirt" alongside a row of heart eye emojis.

Since giving birth, Molly has been open to her fans about how she's finding motherhood, and even revealed a few weeks ago that she was struggling and wasn't feeling like herself after giving birth.

However, this now seems to have changed for the better as she opened up in the Q&A when she was asked how she's finding life as a mum.

Molly-Mae replied: "I feel so much more settled now.

"I would say the last week or so I feel like a different person and I'm really starting to enjoy it the way I expected to… I think at the start it was a massive shock/adjustment (no matter how much you prepare yourself for it).

"But she's 3 months today and I'm absolutely loving this stage. She is more incredible every single day."
