Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckhams wedding planner saga revealed in dads $160k lawsuit

Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham married in a lavish ceremony at the bride's billionaire father Nelson's £Florida estate last year – but new documents from a lawsuit reveal the preparations for the wedding were far from plain-sailing.

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's 23 year old son Brooklyn exchanged his vows with Nicola, 28, in front of their loved ones in April 2022, saying 'I do' at the Father of the Bride's £79m Palm Beach estate.

The couple's big day was a weekend-long extravaganza, with celebrities including the Ramsay family and Victoria's Spice Girls bandmates descending on the beachside location to join the happy couple.

However, new documents from a lawsuit filed by Nicola's father Nelson Peltz, 80, reveal that during preparations, Brooklyn and Nicola had three wedding planners – and two of them "failed" to meet the expectations for their wedding day.

The Daily Mail reports that Nicola and Brooklyn also experienced a "last-minute scramble" to book musicians.

It's claimed there was a "day of reckoning" with one event designer, who was allegedly reduced to tears and driven to having tequila by the stress of the project.

Nicola's dad Nelson is suing Nicole Braghin, who was left in tears, and her partner, Arianna Grijalba, as he claims they are refusing to refund him the $159,000 deposit he paid.

Nelson contacted Nicole and Arianna through their firm, Plan Design Events, back in March 2022, after they decided to get rid of their first planner, Preston Bailey.

In the documents, Nelson says Preston – who planned Donald Trump daughter Ivanka's big day – encountered "challenges" while planning Nicola and Brooklyn's nuptials.

Six weeks before the wedding, the Peltz family hoped Nicole and Arianna would be able to get the ball rolling with their preparations.

But after handing over the $159,000 deposit, the wedding planners decided to back out, as it was claimed they "couldn't handle the VIP guestlist".

The document reads: "The celebrity of the wedding couple combined with the anticipated attendance of many high-profile guests required that the wedding planner have the expertise and staffing to plan, coordinate and execute a wedding event of the expected calibre and complexity."

While Nelson is trying to get back his deposit, he revealed some of the intimate details of the wedding planning in the documents.

Te lawsuit includes a text message exchange between Nicola and the planners, where she told them she was "tired of catching" their repeated mistakes.

"We spoke to him. He can't come so explain why you said he rsvpd yes," Nicola said in one text, in reference to confusion over whether Lewis Hamilton could attend her wedding.

The planner said in response: "I need time to do this. I'm going to take a moment to learn the app [to manage the guestlist] and send you the information, I hate looking like a fool but I hate the most not giving you what you need ASAP. I will be back soon."
