Oti Mabuse, 31, joined Dancing on Ice as a judge this year, taking over from John Barrowman. Today, the professional dancer took to Instagram to offer support to contestant Connor Ball, 25, after he was left bleeding live on the show when his stitches split.

Get well dude.

Connor was due to open the show but had to have his chin stitched up after taking a tumble.

However, the stitches split during his routine with partner Alexandra Schulman, leaving him holding a tissue to his face during the judging.

The Vamps star took to Instagram to share what had happened to him and to thank his fans for their support.

In view of his 820,000 followers, he posted a video and pictures from his week in training.

He penned: “Well, that was an interesting night… smashed my face off the ice then scored our highest score so far of the show!

“But honestly thank you so much to everyone that jumped in to help so quickly, everyone on the show is bloody awesome and I’m lucky to be surrounded by great people.

“PS. The last photo is the shirt I SHOULD’VE worn before it got covered in blood.”

Oti was quick to the comments to wish the star the best after the incident.

Oti commented: “Get well dude.”

His Dancing on Ice partner Alexandra said: “Connor Fall is NOT back.

“Honestly so proud of you partner, you smashed it, literally and you are a rockstar for getting back out there!

“Takes so much courage! Huge thank you to everyone on the team-wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.”

Oti stunned on yesterday’s show as she displayed her gym toned legs in a shimmering black and pink dress.

The dress was paired with silver stiletto sandals and glittering bracelets.

The star wore her tresses in an updo and sported a radiant palette of make-up.

Oti was recently announced as the host of the new musical matchmaking show Romeo & Duet.

She will see singletons stand on a balcony as they are serenaded by potential love matches.

Romeo & Duet went into production in January and will air on ITV and ITV Hub later this year.

About the show, Oti said: “I’m so excited to be part of Romeo & Duet.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to host so this is a real pinch me moment, and it’s a blessing for me to finally be able to share this news.

“I honestly can’t wait to get started!”
