Prince Harry’s ex Ellie Goulding invites royal family to lavish wedding

Ellie Goulding is set to invite a whole host of famous faces to her lavish wedding next month – including the cousins of her most recognisable ex.

The 32-year-old singer has invited Prince Harry's cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to watch her tie the knot with Caspar Jopling.

The two princesses will be guests of honour along with their mum, Sarah Ferguson, who Ellie remains close friends with.

The Love Me Like You Do singer and Eton-educated art-deale  Caspar will wed in Yorkshire next month.

A VIP reception is due to be held at stately home Castle Howard and more than 300 of the couple's friends and family are set to attend.

However, it is unlikely that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be attending the nuptials.

Harry and Meghan Markle have their hands full with baby son Archie Harrison, but Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton – the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – are expected to leave their three kids at home and let their hair down at the A-list bash.

Ellie has opted for a cool 'festival style' evening on the grounds, with VIP pods for guests to stay in as well as golf buggies to drive them around.

A host of vegan delights await the guests, who will quaff posh Bollinger champagne as they watch the newlyweds celebrate their love.

Friends and fellow popstars Rita Ora and Ed Sheeran have also been invited to the glamorous shindig.

Goulding seems to be giving Elton John a run for his money, spending more than £20,000 on flowers alone.

Despite a possible performance from the bride herself, a DJ will be playing Nineties pop – Ellie's favourite.

Ellie and Caspar announced their engagement in a different way to most by placing a traditional notice in The Times.

It read: "The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Hertfordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands."
