Rapper J Stash Dead at 28 Years Old in Apparent Murder-Suicide

The Florida rapper, who was formerly affiliated with Rich The Kid, is believed to have killed himself after fatally shooting a woman in front of her three children.

AceShowbiz -Rapper J Stash a.k.a. J $tash has tragically lost his life at a young age. The Florida rapper, best known for his affiliation to Rich The Kid as a former signee to his Rich Forever label, has reportedly passed away in apparent murder-suicide. He was only 28 years old.

According to a report from KTLA 5, J Stash, whose real name is Justin Joseph, was found dead in a Temple City home on New Year’s Day. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies initially responded to a domestic violence call along the 9200 block of Pentland Street about 7:15 A.M.

When they arrived, the cops found a 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man dead at the scene. The woman had multiple gunshot wounds, while the man had an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. A gun was found at the scene.

“Right now, the evidence at the scene and the preliminary information we have from the children in the home is that it’s a murder-suicide,” said Lt. Derrick Alfred. The woman’s three children, ranging in age from 5 to 11, were removed from the home after deputies arrived. They were not harmed.

A police statement didn’t mention the name of the two adults killed in the incident, but many reports have linked it to J Stash and Jeanette Gallegos, 27. The rapper reportedly dated Jeanette, but it has not been confirmed.

No further details have been released and police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call the department’s homicide bureau at 323-890-5500. About an hour after the investigation began, authorities asked motorists to avoid the area amid the ongoing investigation.

J Stash had dealt with domestic violence incidents in the past. In September 2014, he was accused of brutally beating his former girlfriend Danielle Phaeton in the face and body. He turned himself into police in October that year, but the charges were ultimately dropped.
