Rod Stewart’s ex-wife has remembered the late Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett in a moving post.
In what she has called a “candid flashback”, Alana Stewart was seen sat between an almost unrecognisable blonde-haired Elton John and a very smiley Farrah in the 1980s snap.
The candid moment shows the model appearing to be amused by something off-camera while Elton seemed disengaged from what was happening.
Beside the pair was Farrah, who was prepared for the lens and took the opportunity to flash her iconic smile.
In view of her 106,000 Instagram followers, Alana wrote: “A candid flashback of me, Farrah, and Elton in his blonde period at chez moi.

The Charlie’s Angels star died from anal cancer in June 2009 aged 62.
Alana was by her friend’s side throughout her health ordeal and jetted to Germany with her for treatment.
Following her death, the model discussed Farrah’s journey in a book she dedicated to her.
She wrote: “I would drop everything, leave my family and my dogs and my home and hop on a plane at a moment’s notice if she needed me.
“I felt like she was also my family, that this was something I had to do and wanted to do and that I would worry about myself later.
“We tried, us tough Texas girls, to keep it together, to laugh and retain our sense of humour.”
In honour of her dear friend, Alana also set up the Farrah Fawcett foundation to provide funding for cutting edge methods of cancer research, prevention, and to help those struggling with cancer today.
The proud CEO and President of the website said: “I think Farrah would be very proud of her namesake foundation … I really feel like we’ve been able to do that for her and we will continue to do it for her.”
The late actress was best known for her starring role in the first season of Charlie’s Angels.
