Roger Waters has announced three new U.K. arena dates for his farewell tour, titled the “This Is Not A Drill” Tour.
The former Pink Floyd frontman will kick off the dates at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on May 31, 2023, followed by performances at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on June 2 and London’s The O2 on June 6.
Rogers is currently on the U.S. leg of the farewell tour. Next year, he will fly across the Atlantic to Europe.
The European dates are scheduled to begin in Portuguese capital Lisbon on March 17.
Talking about the “This Is Not A Drill” Tour, Waters said in a statement, “This Is Not A Drill is a groundbreaking new rock and roll/cinematic extravaganza, performed in the round, it is a stunning indictment of the corporate dystopia in which we all struggle to survive, and a call to action to Love, Protect and Share our precious and precarious planet home.”
“The show includes a dozen great songs from Pink Floyd’s Golden Era alongside several new ones, words and music, same writer, same heart, same soul, the same man. Could be his last hurrah. Wow! My first farewell tour! Don’t miss it,” he added.
Tickets for the U.K. tour dates will go on sale on September 30.
