Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestant Saffron Barker, 19, told fans herself and AJ Pritchard, 24, will be dancing to a track from the Hunger Games movie.

In view of her 1.3 million followers, the YouTube star shared a picture of her posing with a bow and arrow.

She wrote the caption: “And the news is out!!!!

Katniss Everdeen is a fictional character played by Jennifer Lawrence in the 2012 hit movie.

Many of the star’s social media fans flocked to her page to comment on the news.

One user wrote: “May the odds be ever in your favour.”

“OMG my fave film!!!! Can’t wait to see it,” a second added.

A third penned: “I’m so beyond proud of you Saff.”

The dancing duo will perform a Paso Doble to Lorde’s Everybody Wants To Rule The World.

Last week, Saffron and AJ Pritchard danced the Cha Cha Cha to One Touch by Jess Glynne and Jax Jones.

The pair were scored 23 out of a possible 40 points by the four judges.

Earlier this year when Saffron and AJ were first partnered up on the launch show, head judge Shirley Ballas said the pair already had “chemistry”.

After her comment, many viewers took to Twitter to speculate a romance between the pair.

But shutting down romance speculation, Saffron Barker said her and AJ will not be anymore than friends.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, she said: “Honestly, I just look at AJ as such a good friend.

“We got close really quickly, but we have a personality that just bounces off each other and I don’t think we will be anymore than friends.

“He’s got a girlfriend, she’s lovely.”

Saffron is single, while AJ is in a relationship with fellow dancer Abbie Quinnen, 23.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
