Olivia Attwood had revealed that Sam Mucklow attempted to strangle one of his TOWIE cast mates in unaired scenes.
The former Love Island star, 28, who is now starring on TOWIE, shared the shocking information on her Instagram stories on Monday night.
The former grid girl decided to blast Sam, 27, who is dating her pal Shelby Tribble, 26, after he gave an interview where he stated that Olivia was bringing down TOWIE and "isn't good for the show."
In retaliation, Olivia posted a screenshot of Sam's comments and typed on the snap: "From the boy who tried to strangle someone on the first ep."
She accompanied the text with a row of crying with laughter emojis before adding:"Give me a day off."
Seemingly proud of his actions, Sam then responded to Olivia's accusation on his Instagram story.
He shared a screenshot of her words and penned alongside the snap: "I would do it ten times over defending the people I love and sticking up for my girlfriend. What's your excuse?"
The Mirror have contacted a representative for Sam for comment.
It comes after he spoke to MailOnline about Olivia: “I don't have anything against her and I don't dislike her but if I'm honest I don't think she is good for TOWIE.
“The show is a bit classier than other reality shows and I feel like Liv is bringing something we've not really had before.
“I think she would be more at home on Ex on the Beach or Geordie Shore.”
In the first episode of the 25th series of TOWIE, which was aired at the start of September, viewers saw Sam involved in a hated row with Tom McDonnell.
Whilst Tom kept his cool, Sam shouted and squared up to the personal trainer as they fought about Tom's former flame Shelby, who is now with Sam.
Olivia was seen telling Sam to calm down and afterwards berated him for his behavior towards Tom.
Leggy Olivia's debut on TOWIE has ruffled feathers amongst the cast.
